You can't beat the Axis if you get VD
This poster cracks me up because I find it so candid. I consider the 1940’s to be a very hush, hush time when STD’s were NOT discussed. I’m glad to see the government stepped up and addressed the issue. It would be fascinating to see what an equivalent poster directed toward women would look like… probably there is none since women were supposed to be sitting at home, celibate.

Am I glad I was born much later? Anti-fema (woman) ads like this just get on my nerves. And unfortunately, some ethnographic societies where the male is dominant still believe the female is cause of STD. Sad.
